SMS Messaging Consent & Opt-In Policy

Last updated: March 2026

1. What is Revyra?

Revyra is a SaaS platform that helps small service businesses automate client follow-up messages after completed appointments.

Revyra is designed for appointment-based businesses such as cleaners, landscapers, tradespeople, beauty professionals, and other local service providers. Messages are sent by the business using Revyra to communicate with its own customers.

2. How SMS consent is collected

SMS messages may only be sent to customers who have provided express consent to receive them.

Consent must be collected by the business before any SMS is sent through Revyra, using the business's own web form, booking form, intake form, or customer registration form.

To obtain valid consent, the business must clearly disclose that the customer agrees to receive SMS messages related to their appointment and post-service follow-up.

Example consent language:

By providing your phone number and submitting this form, you agree to receive SMS messages from [Business Name] related to your appointment and post-service follow-up, including feedback or review requests. Message frequency may vary. Reply STOP to opt out. Message and data rates may apply.

Revyra requires businesses using the platform to confirm that they have obtained proper consent from each recipient before sending SMS messages.

3. What types of SMS messages are sent

Revyra supports service-related follow-up messages sent after a completed appointment.

These messages may include:

  • thank-you messages after a service
  • customer feedback requests
  • Google review requests
  • appointment follow-up messages related to a completed service

Revyra does not allow unsolicited cold SMS campaigns, bulk promotional blasts, or third-party lead generation messaging through this use case.

Example message:

[Business Name]: Thanks for choosing us today. If you were happy with your appointment, we'd appreciate your feedback. Leave a Google review here: [link]. Reply STOP to opt out.

4. Opt-out instructions

Every SMS sent through Revyra must include clear opt-out instructions.

Recipients can opt out at any time by replying:

STOP

Opt-out requests are processed immediately, and the recipient will no longer receive SMS messages from that business through Revyra unless they opt in again.

5. Message frequency

Message frequency varies by business and customer interaction, but in most cases customers receive no more than 1 to 2 SMS messages per completed appointment.

6. Recordkeeping and responsibility

Businesses using Revyra are responsible for maintaining records of customer consent, including the date, source, and method of opt-in when applicable.

By using Revyra's SMS functionality, each business confirms that it has obtained valid consent from all recipients in accordance with applicable laws, carrier requirements, and messaging platform policies.
